Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Meridian Mayhem
Our aim is to provide a safe, fun and enjoyable experience for all our guests. By entering our premises or making a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These rules are in place to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone visiting our facility.
Admission
· Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over.
· Adults are responsible for the behaviour, safety and supervision of the children in their care throughout their visit.
· Socks must be worn by all children and adults entering the play equipment.
· Shoes must be removed before entering the play areas.
· Meridian Mayhem reserves the right to refuse admission where the safety or wellbeing of guests may be compromised.
Safe Play rules
· Climbing on the exterior of the play equipment, safety netting or support structures is strictly prohibited.
· Food, drinks and chewing gum are not permitted within the play equipment.
· Running, pushing, rough play, bullying, fighting or any behaviour that may endanger others is not permitted.
· Children who are unwell, have experienced sickness or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours, or have a contagious illness should not attend.
· Jewellery, badges, watches and sharp objects must be removed before entering the play equipment.
· Suitable clothing must be worn at all times. Clothing with loose cords or drawstrings should be avoided.
· Any accidents, injuries or damaged equipment must be reported to a member of staff immediately.
· When using the slides, guests must always slide feet first. Climbing up the slides or sliding headfirst is strictly prohibited.
Sports Arena Rules
· The Sports Arena must be used safely and responsibly at all times.
· Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult whilst using the Sports Arena.
· Food, drinks and chewing gum are not permitted.
· Running into or climbing on the perimeter fencing, goal structures or hot shots is prohibited.
· Balls should remain within the designated arena area.
· Meridian Mayhem accepts no responsibility for injuries resulting from misuse of the arena or failure to follow these rules.
· No shoes are permitted in the Sports Arena.
Parent/Guardian Responsibility
· Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.
· Meridian Mayhem does not provide childcare.
· Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring the equipment is suitable for the age, height and ability of their child.
· Management reserves the right to refuse admission or require any individual to leave the premises where behaviour is considered unsafe, inappropriate or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
· Only food and drinks purchased from Meridian Mayhem may be consumed on the premises unless prior written permission has been granted for allergy or medical reasons.
· Personal belongings remain the owner's responsibility. Meridian Mayhem accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
· Meridian Mayhem is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all visitors and employees. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, aggressive, intimidating or discriminatory behaviour towards our staff or other guests. Anyone displaying such behaviour may be asked to leave the premises immediately without refund and may be refused future admission. Serious incidents may be reported to the police.
· Customers may be held responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing equipment or property damaged through deliberate, reckless or negligent behaviour.
Party Terms
· Parties will be charged for a minimum of 8 guests per party. We recommend booking a minimum of 8 children if you are unsure of numbers. Additional guests can be added up to 48 hours before the party, subject to availability. Refunds will not be given for children who are unable to attend.
· Please make us aware of any allergens.
· For the Mini Mayhem Party (Self Catered) we do not allow food purchased from external food-outlets to be brought onto the premises.
· Your party room will be available from your allocated party start time and must be vacated promptly at the end of your booked party time.
· No sparklers or confetti balloons are allowed.
· Damage caused by guests may be charged.
· Party organisers are responsible for ensuring all guests comply with these Terms and Conditions during the party.
Photography
· Customers are welcome to take photographs of members of their own party but should avoid photographing or filming other children or guests.
· CCTV operates throughout Meridian Mayhem for the purposes of safety, crime prevention and the protection of our customers, staff and property.
· Commercial photography or filming is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission to Meridian Mayhem.
Medical Conditions
· Parents and guardians are responsible for informing staff of any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs that may affect their child's safety while using the facilities.
· Whilst every reasonable effort is made to accommodate allergies, Meridian Mayhem cannot guarantee that any food or drink served on the premises is free from allergens.
Right to refuse admission
· Meridian Mayhem reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, intoxicated or likely to negatively affect the experience of other guests.
· No refund will be provided where admission is refused or terminated due to a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Lost Property
· Lost property will be retained for a maximum of 28 days. Unclaimed items may then be disposed of or donated. Meridian Mayhem accepts no responsibility for lost or forgotten belongings.
Liability
· Meridian Mayhem takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment. Children use the play equipment under the supervision and responsibility of their accompanying adult.
· Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Cancellation and refund policy
· Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of management.
· Party deposits are non-refundable.
· General admission bookings may be transferred to an alternative date or time up to one hour before the booked session, subject to availability.
· If Meridian Mayhem is unable to operate due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, customers will be offered an alternative booking date or refund.
Changes to these terms and conditions
· Meridian Mayhem reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and at reception.
